Training and Memberships
Dr. Arora is licensed in CBCT imaging and interpretation, so he can take and read three-dimensional scans of the teeth and jaw in Ontario. These scans help him find hidden canals and plan complex root canals.
He is a registered member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) and a member of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA).
CBCT 3D Imaging
Three-dimensional scans for diagnosis and treatment planning.
As a practice owner, he wants every patient to feel welcome, and to leave knowing what was done and why. That openness has helped him build lasting relationships with his patients.
Root Canal Treatment With Dr. Arora
A root canal treats the soft tissue (pulp) inside a tooth when it becomes infected or inflamed, often because of deep decay, a crack or an injury. Signs include lasting pain, sensitivity to hot or cold that doesn’t fade, and swelling in the gum near the tooth.
As a root canal dentist in Mississauga, Dr. Arora cleans and seals the inside of the tooth so you can keep it instead of having it pulled. Most back teeth then need a dental crown to protect them. Read more about root canal treatment in Mississauga, including cost and recovery.
CBCT 3D Dental Scans in Mississauga
A CBCT (cone beam computed tomography) scan is a 3D dental X-ray of your teeth, jaw and surrounding bone. A regular dental X-ray shows a flat picture; a CBCT scan lets the dentist look at a tooth from every angle.
Dr. Arora is licensed in Ontario to take and interpret CBCT scans, so you can have a CBCT scan in Mississauga at our clinic. They help him find extra or curved canals, see infection at the root tip, and plan complex root canals. Not everyone needs one, and he’ll tell you if a scan would help in your case.
What to Expect at Your Visit
Your first appointment with Dr. Arora starts with a conversation about your teeth, any pain or worries, and what you’d like to change. Then comes an exam, with X-rays if you need them.
Before any treatment, Dr. Arora goes through what he found, the options and the cost, and answers your questions. If a tooth might need a root canal, he’ll show you what the X-ray or scan shows and explain your choices, including what happens if you wait.
We bill most dental insurance plans directly and accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), so you usually pay only your share on the day. New patients are welcome, with or without insurance.
