Oral Surgery Treatments With Dr. Singh in Mississauga
With a master’s degree in oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Singh provides surgical treatment at our clinic. Patients looking for a wisdom teeth dentist or a tooth extraction dentist in Mississauga often see him for:
- Wisdom teeth removal: simple and surgical removal of impacted or partly erupted wisdom teeth.
- Tooth extractions: removing teeth that are badly broken, infected or loose, as gently as possible.
- Dental implants: a titanium post placed in the jaw to replace a missing tooth, topped with a crown.
- Bone grafting: adding bone where the jaw has thinned, so an implant has a solid base.
Dental Bone Grafts in Mississauga Before Implants
After a tooth is lost, the jawbone in that spot slowly shrinks. If there isn’t enough bone left to hold an implant, a bone graft rebuilds it. Sometimes the graft is placed at the same visit as the extraction or implant; other times it needs a few months to heal first.
Dr. Singh checks the bone with X-rays or a 3D scan and explains whether you need a graft, and how it changes your treatment timeline, before you commit.
What to Expect at Your Visit
Your first appointment with Dr. Singh starts with a conversation about your teeth, any pain or worries, and what you’d like to change. Then comes an exam, with X-rays if you need them.
Before any treatment, Dr. Singh goes through what he found, the options and the cost, and answers your questions. For surgery, he’ll also explain how to prepare, what numbing is used, and how to look after the area as it heals.
We bill most dental insurance plans directly and accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), so you usually pay only your share on the day. New patients are welcome, with or without insurance.
