Invisalign and Braces With Dr. Mendiratta
Dr. Mendiratta is an Invisalign-certified dentist in Mississauga who treats crooked, crowded and gapped teeth, as well as bite problems. Depending on your teeth and what you prefer, he can use clear aligners or traditional braces:
- Invisalign clear aligners: a series of removable, nearly invisible trays that move your teeth a little at a time.
- Braces: brackets and wires that stay on your teeth, often used for more complex tooth movement.
- Checkups and cleanings and fillings, so your teeth and gums stay healthy before and during treatment.
Choosing Between Braces and Clear Aligners
Clear aligners are hard to see and come out for eating and brushing, but they only work if you wear them most of the day. Braces stay on your teeth the whole time, so there’s nothing to remember, and they can handle some tooth movements that aligners can’t.
If you’re looking for a braces and clear aligners dentist in Mississauga, Dr. Mendiratta can talk you through both. At your consultation he checks your teeth and bite, then explains which option suits you, how long treatment is likely to take and what it costs.
What to Expect at Your Visit
Your first appointment with Dr. Mendiratta starts with a conversation about your teeth, any pain or worries, and what you’d like to change. Then comes an exam, with X-rays if you need them.
Before any treatment, Dr. Mendiratta goes through what he found, the options and the cost, and answers your questions. If you’re thinking about straightening your teeth, he’ll explain how Invisalign and braces compare for your case.
We bill most dental insurance plans directly and accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), so you usually pay only your share on the day. New patients are welcome, with or without insurance.
