About Dr. Kharod
Dr. Pranav Kharod is a general dentist at River Run Dental Centre in Mississauga who gives every patient careful, personal attention. He also holds a master’s degree in endodontics, the area of dentistry that covers root canal treatment.

Dr. Kharod earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Gujarat University, India, in 2009, followed by a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Endodontics from Gujarat University. He later earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Alberta.
He is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) and the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), and he keeps up with changes in dentistry through continuing education.
Outside the office, Dr. Kharod enjoys reading fiction, exploring the outdoors and spending time with his wife and their two sons.

Dr. Kharod holds a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in endodontics, the area of dentistry that deals with the nerve and root of a tooth. That training helps when a tooth is painful, infected or has had a root canal before.

What to Expect at Your Visit
Your first appointment with Dr. Kharod starts with a conversation about your teeth, any pain or worries, and what you’d like to change. Then comes an exam, with X-rays if you need them.
Before any treatment, Dr. Kharod goes through what he found, the options and the cost, and answers your questions. He wants you to feel heard, so bring any questions or worries, and he’ll go through them with you.
We bill most dental insurance plans directly and accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), so you usually pay only your share on the day. New patients are welcome, with or without insurance.
